St. Matthew Church follows the diocesan Safe Environment program guidelines by assuring that all volunteers who work with children have submitted to a background check, have attended a Protecting God’s Children session and have completed a volunteer application.

St. Matthew will host Protecting God’s Children session on

• Tuesday, July 19

• Wednesday, August 31 and

• Monday, September 19

All session are 6-9 p.m. in the St. Anthony room. Participants must register at www.virtusonline.org. Background checks for those who have lived in Ohio for 5 years will be done from 5:30-6 p.m. prior to the sessions. The cost is $24, and please bring your driver’s license.

Participate in a "Protecting God's Children" session.

To register for a Protecting God`s Children program, access www.virtusonline.org and click on the yellow link, “Registration”, on the left side of the page.  On the next page, you can either view a list of upcoming sessions or begin the registration process.  When asked to select your organization, scroll to “Columbus OH” and then click “Select”.   If you have questions, please call the parish office (471-0212).
