To assist “Habitat for
Humanity” with meeting some of the housing needs
of the Central Ohio community. This ministry works with
Habitat on a monthly basis to perform such activities as
landscaping, shed building, minor repairs, administrative
and warehouse assistance at their “Use It Again” centers.
Ultimately, the ministry may choose to sponsor or co-sponsor
a house-building project.
Interfaith Hospitality Network provides fellowship to
homeless families in our community. Our involvement will
take place On an eight week cycle. We will provide
meals for families at the IHN facility off 5th Avenue. Activities
include preparing and serving the meal, visiting with the
families, caring for the babies, and playing with the children. |

Every community is blessed
with people who genuinely care about its health and welfare.
They express their concern in countless ways and are involved
in pressing issues such as homelessness, addictions, children,
and the elderly. The opportunities for the church to come
alongside those who are addressing these needs are endless.
Even though we may attribute different causes to the problems
that ail society, we can work together with these agencies
and organizations for the greater good of bettering our
central Ohio communities.
