Members of the Baptism Ministry
meet several times a year to make Baptismal Cloths and
prayer cards. As the ministry expands, meetings will include
sessions on offering support to parents of the newly baptized
and then opportunities to share that support.
The Sacristans are responsible for the care and security
of the Sanctuary and Sacristy. This includes decorating
the church for the Christmas and Easter seasons. Other
activities include: washing and ironing the Altar linens
and albs, taking vestments to the cleaner when needed,
replacing candles in the Sanctuary, preparing for Christmas
and Easter celebrations, ordering supplies when needed,
and other
duties as requested. |

The tradition and ceremony
which beautifully enhances our Catholic faith calls for
many items which must be maintained in a carefully prescribed
way. Individuals are needed to perform these duties in
a reliable, timely, conscientious, and reverent manner.
