RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY

 Purpose: To promote and defend the right to life of all human beings from conception until natural death. This is in recognition of the belief that all humans are created in God’s image and likeness. It is our goal to increase our parish’s understanding of the Church’s teachings and its awareness of greater community needs regarding Pro-Life issues. Prayer is an important part of our focus.

Activities: Pro-Life Rosary on the first Sunday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Church.  Members of our group regularly join others in prayer vigils outside of abortion clinics around Columbus. Other activities include participating in fund-raisers to help support other pro-life groups serving the community, maintaining a bulletin board in the Church to bring a variety of pro-life issues to the attention of the churchgoers, working with St. Matthew School and Parish School of Religion to provide age-appropriate curriculum desired by the teachers.
