The
ministries of the Religious Education Program, support the
Pastor and Catechetical leaders in the spiritual development of
the youth of our parish family. It is important for all
Catholics to grow in the knowledge of their faith and in their
love of Christ and His Church. This can be accomplished with the
extended help and support of all members of our parish family.
Our Parish School of Religion exists to support parents by
providing Religious Education classes, providing a formal
learning situation, and by offering opportunities for peer and
community expressions of faith. Parents, by their example and
guidance, are the primary religious educators of their children.
The Church is committed to the religious education of its young
people. In order to accomplish this for students who do not
attend parochial school, parishes provide classes for
school-aged children of the parish.
